tenforward.social is hosted on a single VPS (Virtual Private Server) on [[https://www.linode.com/lp/refer/?r=f8f6a586e0c80a332db98c713b9df034b0d3767f|Linode]]. It is located in Linode's Chicago, IL, USA location.

The server uses/hosts the common non-Docker Mastodon setup which includes:

  * nginx [frontend web server]
  * PostgreSQL [Mastodon's SQL store]
  * Redis [Mastodon's in-memory data store]
  * Mastodon app server daemons [Sidekiq, web, and streaming]
