User generated media content such as avatars, header images, post image attachments, audio/video files are stored on a AWS (Amazon Web Services) S3 bucket in the us-east-2 region. Aforementioned media content is then distributed via the AWS Cloudfront CDN (Content Delivery Network).

Post attachment media content fetched from external instances is stored for 7 days after which it is removed from the S3 bucket and will need to be refetched to be viewed on Ten Forward.
